Martin Bissig is an internationally acclaimed action and outdoor photographer who has made a name for himself over the past two decades. With a passion for mountain biking, travel, and adventure, Martin left a career in banking and business economics in 2003 to pursue photography full-time, building a network within the sports industry and working with international magazines. Specializing in action and outdoor photography, Martin collaborates with top athletes like F1 driver Esteban Ocon and mountain biker Nino Schurter, as well as leading brands like RedBull, Adidas, Oakley, and Specialized. His work takes him across Switzerland and beyond, to remote locales like the Himalayas, China, Iran, and Greenland. In addition to his work as a photographer, Martin has been leading photography workshops for over ten years, sharing his expertise in indirect flash, action photography, and hybrid shooting. As a Canon Ambassador and Academy Coach since 2019, he’s one of only two Swiss photographers to represent the program. Martin’s talent and dedication have also earned him recognition in the prestigious RedBull Illume Photography Contest, where he recently reached the finals with two of his photos. Regarded as one of Europe’s most published outdoor photographers, Martin’s work appears in major publications like National Geographic, CNN.com, and GEO.com. His involvement with moodcase enables him to streamline his workflow, allowing him to focus on capturing the breathtaking moments that make his photography so unique.
